July has been an exceptional period for large numbers of walleyes being caught. I usually will fish structure off the beaten navionic path that ensures the best opportunity to fish.
Not subject to, I will check the well known humps and shelf’s and have found large numbers of walleye most everywhere.
When guests rent our cabins I make it habit to update fishing depths and time sensitive weather effects on the fishing. Sharing spots, all my relevant knowledge to help these fishermen’s success during their stay with us.
The last couple groups experienced some of the best fishing in the years they have stayed with us. Here are some pictures of their catch. One day they caught and released 32 lake trout and boated over 500 walleye during their stay.
